Farmer & Livestock Fieldsmen. Been involved in farming all my life, mainly livestock production and also work for local auction mart.

57, 3 rugby playing sons; ages 30, 29, 25.

What is your club:
St Boswells.

Proudest achievement in curling:
Skipping my rink to win local seniors competition in Kelso in mid December.

What are you doing now in curling:
Enjoying playing in club and local competitions and representing Kelso Ice Rink on National Royal Club committee.

What motivated you to come on tour:
Have played against and been involved with many incoming tours and have known many previous outgoing tourists and have been impressed by the enjoyment and friendship enjoyed by all.

What have you enjoyed most about tour so far:
Looked forward to playing all over western Canada and meeting new friends and so far I have not been disappointed and the hospitality has been fantastic.

Any specific roles in the tour planning and/or during the tour:
No special roles pre tour but now taking on all responsibilities of being a skip on tour including my share of speaking duties.

Other sports/interests:
3 rugby playing sons means a considerable amount of time spent watching/supporting, which I enjoy.
Heavily involved with local agricultural society which is gearing up to celebrate its bi-centenary starting on 22nd January.
