What motivated you to come on tour:
Tried for place 10 years ago, but was only first reserve. Just had to try again before I really got too old, and was thrilled to be selected. All indications are that it will be the curling experience of a lifetime. This has to be the pinnacle of everyone’s curling career!

What are you most looking forward to/what have you enjoyed most about tour:
The vast distances that we in the West will be travelling. It looks intimidating, but I have every confidence it will be a great adventure.

Any specific roles in the tour planning and/or during the tour:
The songbook, its preparation and execution – just worry that all 19 of my fellow tourists will just mime!!!

Other sports/interests:
Golf – h/cap 16 – at Muckhart and Lundin Links. Used to play rugby, hockey and tennis.
Church, bridge, amateur operatics, reading, crosswords and ‘freecell’ on the computer (!)
Always have been fiercely competitive, maybe not so much now, and enjoy team situations.
