Where are you from?
Newtonhill nr Stonehaven. Born Norwich England. Lived in Scotland since 1978 on return from working in Italy.

Last position Technical Sales Manager Drilling Fluids for Baker Hughes Continental Europe Geomarket. Retired December 18th. Previously was Regional Technical Manager for EARC (Europe Africa Russia Caspian) for BHDF.

64. Married 3 children. 2 Grandchildren.

What is your club/are your clubs?
Aberdeen Petroleum. Current Secretary and President (Latter appears to be permanent!) Past member AWW also.

Proudest achievement in curling?
Winning AJ knockout 2011/12 in Aberdeen with a mixed team to represent North East Province in playdowns 2012. Won section, knocked out in quarter final.

What are you doing now in curling?
Currently skip a club team and a club team in Province. Withdrew from Superleague this year due to team issues.

What motivated you to come on tour?
Liked the idea and as retiring could get the time off work. Any other time not possible (before or after!). Should also serve to improve my curling skills.

What are you most looking forward to/what have you enjoyed most about tour?
The whole experience of being on Tour and meeting everybody.

Any specific roles in the tour planning and/or during the tour?
Just helping out with photos

Golf. Member Peterculter GC and Edzell GC. Handicap 15.

Other interests?
Fossil hunting/collecting. Gardening.

Anything else of interest?
My dog. A Chesapeake. My wife’s Aunt lives in Guelph!
